You’ll spend 6 days in the highly rated and beautiful Hotel Jardin del Eden, only a few steps from the center of town and across the road from the pristine beach. You’ll have plenty of options for eating, partying and pick from several activities, enough to do something different every single day you spend there. But let’s not forget the most important thing! Tamarindo is the perfect location to the only accessible by boat World Renown Ollies Point and Witches Rock featured in all the worth watching surfing movies ever produced. (The boat tours can be arranged by us upon request)

Of course as in all our vacation packages you’ll also have the advantage of a 4×4 rental to surf Avellanas, Junquillal, Marbella, Playa Grande and several hidden beaches. All the surf spots mentioned are easily accessible by car and less than an hour away from each other, giving everybody the option between socializing with plenty of fellow surfers or simply have an entire desolated beach for you and your family. Additionally between October and December the surrounding area becomes a Natures Lover paradise where you may get to live one of Mother Nature’s wonders, the leatherback turtle egg laying.

Tamarindo Vacation Itinerary

- Day 1: Upon your arrival in Costa Rica one of our representatives will meet you at the airport and take you to the Hotel Best Western Irazu, where you’ll have the opportunity to rest from your flight, get to know a little of Costa Rica and get ready for your next morning drive to the northern Pacific coast.

- Day 2: On your second morning in Costa Rica, while taking advantage of the complimentary breakfast at Denny’s, a car rental representative will deliver your prepaid 4×4 Vehicle and explain the rental contracts plus additional services available. In all our prices we always include the basic mandatory insurance. With the Car Rental Representative you’ll have the option of purchasing additional insurance coverage and several other services (GPS, Mobile Phone Rental, Cooler, etc.)

-  Day 2 to 7: Check out from the Best Western Irazu, get your stuff in the car and start the 4 hours drive to Tamarindo. Getting there is pretty simple but always feel free to ask us if you need any further assistance. Once in Tamarindo get settled in your beautiful room at Hotel Jardin del Eden and get to know the town or simply start riding some waves.

-  Day 7: On your seventh day in Costa Rica you’ll have to head back to San Jose where you’ll spend your last night at the Best Western Irazu. You’ll be free to chill out at the hotel bar, play some chips at the hotel Casino, rest at the hotel pool or have a quick tour of the Capital City and mingle with the locals.

-  Day 8: Unfortunately it’s time to get back to reality! Before getting to the airport drop off your car at the car rental office by the airport, their free shuttle will take you to the departures terminal to catch your flight. Remember to be at the car rental office at least three hours and a half before your departure time so you’ll have plenty of time to deliver the car, buy the $26 departure tax (per person) at the airport, do your check in and have a safe flight back home.
