Playa Uvita is a stunning beach located on the southern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. It is approximately 16 kilometers south of Dominical and is within the Marino Ballena National Park, which is a hugely popular marine park. From December to April, the Marino Bellena National Park is home to many Humpback Whales who migrate here for the warm waters.
The beach here is two miles long and consists of eye catching white sands and tropical blue waters. It is a perfect beach for swimming and partaking in water sports but it is prohibited to fish or hunt here as it is a protected area. This is a beautiful paradise for tourists who will enjoy the laid back atmosphere of the quaint little village and the amazing picturesque landscape that surrounds the area.
